Choose the course that suits you: Original or Compact

Two course options to optimize your 3-day Haute Route experience.

Choose a course that suits you on every 3-day event in 2019 (except Haute Route Oman). No matter which course you choose, all riders experience the world-class Haute Route support before, during, and after each stage. The new Compact courses offer new and returning riders the opportunity to ride fewer kilometers with less climbing.

For the first time in multi-day cycling events, riders will also be able to choose between the Original and Compact courses on a day-by-day basis. For instance, you can ride the Original course on Stage 1 and the Compact course on Stage 2, if you want.

There will be General Classification competitions for riders who complete the entire Original or Compact course. Riders who choose to mix and match will be included in stage rankings each day, but not included in GC.
