In mid-summer, the High Country of North Carolina enjoys 80-degree temperatures while the surrounding East Coast temperatures hover in the high 90s. Early August is a prime time to be in Boone! The Boone Gran Fondo rolls through Appalachian State University and, after just a few turns, climbs beside picturesque Winklers Creek during the first timed section.
Challenge Family - Challenge Turku
Turku is the old capital of Finland and a vivid medieval city spread along the banks of river Aura by the Baltic Sea. Turku is a destination filled with events and things to do, not to mention historic sights as the castle and the cathedral. Turku has been a source of the urban legends since 1229!
The CHALLENGE TURKU race weekend takes place in and around historic Turku on the 10th of August (Junior, Challenge4All &Sprint) and on the 11th of August (Half Distance) 2019. With guaranteed atmosphere, the race offers fast and functional courses. Challenge Turku 2019 edition will be the fifth year for the event.
Challenge Family - Challenge Davos Festival
From September 13-15, 2019 the 3rd Challenge Davos Festival is taking place. In addition to the established triathlon races over the Middle and Olympic Distances,
a triathlon distance for beginners, a Swim&Run for kids and a NightRun are new to the programme.
The Challenge Davos Festival will start with the NightRun over 5.4km on Friday. The distance can be tackled alone or as a team of three. On Saturday athletes can compete over the Middle, Olympic or Sprint distance and kids can get a taste of triathlon at the Swim&Run competition. On Sunday we’ll finish the Multisport festival with the Ride the Alps adventure trip over the Flüela Pass, where you can once again enjoy the beautiful mountain region around Davos.Take flight with the 20km of Geneva by Genève Aéroport: participate in either the Solo, Duo or Trio race!
All events qualified for the "Road to Haute Route" programme are required to share theses sports values.
