Supporter

Yes, if you have friends or family coming along to support you they can follow you on each stage however outside assistance is only permitted within 100m of the refreshment points.

Please ensure they come to the Supporter’s Briefing on registration day, where they will need to register their car and insurance details in order to receive an « Haute Route » car sticker.

If you want to come with a partner sharing your room, we advise you to book a double room on your registration form in order to share the same form.

For 7 day events: If you come with people not sharing the room with you, you can book an additional room for them online on a dedicated form. Please note that transfers between stages are not provided.

Sorry but we are unable to provide transport for your guests during the Haute Route, so they will need to organise their own transport between each stage. Most riders who have friends/family following them for the week hire a car. The roads will be open for each stage so they can follow the riders in a car, we just ask they are very careful when they pass the cyclists, and drive slowly and cautiously.

Yes, your guests are very welcome to attend the final prize giving ceremony after the finish of the event. Tickets will be sold at the Info Point on the last day, and on the door (cash only). Entry for riders is included in the entry fee.

Before the event they will be able to sign up to a dedicated newsletter, in order to receive daily updates during the race. They can also follow you online on the LIVE section of the website (available only during the event period). Here they are able to see when you pass each checkpoint and your status during the race.

Riders can also sign up to have photos uploaded directly to their Facebook page, so friends and family can check riders’ Facebook pages to see the latest photos.
