A Special Evening with Andy Schleck Cycles - SOLD OUT

Join former pro cyclists Andy and Fränk Schleck and Haute Route Ambassador Delphine Dard-Pourrat for a special evening of exchange, knowledge and practical tips. This is a perfect opportunity to learn how to launch a successful 2020 cycling race season.

Strength, recovery, basic mechanics, and riding confidently in a peloton are just a few of the discussion topics planned. Launch your training preparation for an Haute Route or a Gran Fondo early and the right way! Join us to learn more.

Three different workshops will be offered:

1- Mechanics Workshop : Learn from pro mechanics what you need to pay attention to on your bike, before, during and after a race. Discover basic mechanics, important service scheduling, and how to do small repairs on your bike. This workshop will be of particular interest for people racing in multi-stage events when back-to back days take a toll on your bike. Find out what to do to refresh your bike before you start again the next day.

2- Ride confidently in group by Fränk Schleck : Being successful in a race depends on your ability to ride in a peloton. Learn about riding safely in a pack and group riding rules. Former pro cyclist, Fränk Schleck will make a special guest appearance to share his experience, provide first-hand advice and tips and tricks to ride with confidence in a peloton.

3- Recovery, stretching and Strength the do’s and the dont’s: Delphine Dard-Pourrat is an Haute Route Ambassador for Luxembourg and experienced yoga teacher. She will share with you some important information about when to stretch, how to recover quickly, how to use stretching to avoid injury and build up your core strength during the off-season. She will demonstrate some basic exercise you will be able to take way and try at home and will share her experience during multi-day events such as Haute Route.
