Set against the backdrop of the iconic Golden Gate Bridge, live three timed stages in one of the most visited and beautiful cities in the world.
The inaugural edition of the Haute Route San Francisco will be set against the backdrop of the iconic Golden Gate Bridge.
With a total of 312km (194 miles) and 6035m (19800Ft) of climbing, the course for the inaugural Haute Route San Francisco showcases some of the best roads and climbs that the bay area has to offer. Climbing over both Mount Diablo and Grizzly Peak on the first stage, riders will also have to ascend 5 climbs on stage 2 before a summit finish atop Hawk Hill. The final day Time-Trial from Fort Cranston loops along the coast and through the Golden Gate Park for 20.6km of rolling hills.
The closest international airports are San Francisco International Airport (SFO) and Oakland International Airport (OAK).
Like all Haute Route events, you will benefit from full mechanical assistance from the event’s Global Partner, Mavic – drawing on decades of experience supporting the pro peloton in cycling’s Grand Tours – in addition to daily stage timings, feed stations, massages, meals and exclusive event jersey, bib shorts and arm warmers.
Join us for the inaugural event in California and embrace the opportunity to compete with a professional level of on and off the bike support unprecedented in U.S. amateur cycling!
