Why this event?

Highest point reached by the Haute Route

The Haute Route Mexico is centered in Valle de Bravo, on the shores of Lago Avándaro, with a course featuring demanding climbs, thrilling descents, and stunning scenery. Not only you will get to experience the beauty of the glistening lake and surrounding mountains and pine forests, but you'll also tackle the ascent up the Nevado de Toluca volcano. At 3,534 metres above sea level, it's the highest point reached by any 2021 Haute Route event.

One of Mexico's magic towns

Due to its unique geography, regional cuisine and traditional spirit, Valle de Bravo was named one of the Top 3 Magic Towns in the Mexican Tourism Ministry's Pueblo Mágico programme. Immerse yourself in the Valle de Bravo region by riding through villages and small towns full of local colour and culture. This is the perfect opportunity to witness the splendour of Central Mexico

Going Compact

The Compact course features fewer kilometres and less elevation gain, and excludes the ascent to the 3,534-metre summit of the Nevado de Toluca volcano. Save some energy to enjoy more the beauty of riding along the shores of the glistening lake and into the surrounding mountains and pine forests.
