Why this event?

An Accessible Haute Route Experience

With shorter distances (45-70km) and less elevation gain (2,000-2,500 M+), the Compact route starts with the Original peloton on Stage 1, finishes on the Passo Giau on Stage 2, and completes the Giau time trial for Stage 3. All riders experience twisting mountain roads and sweeping vistas, and all the support and services you expect from the Haute Route.

A luxurious and majestic destination

Possibly the most luxurious ski resort in Italy and host to the 2026 Winter Olympics, Cortina d’Ampezzo is the ideal spring location for a cycling event in the heart of a UNESCO World Natural Heritage: the Dolomites. With a sensational route featuring highly recognisable jagged rock faces, demanding climbs, and snow-capped summits, you will be in awe of the breathtaking and unforgettable panoramic views.

Superior Support Services

At the Haute Route we believe all riders deserve world-class support, no matter how many kilometres you ride. All riders start together, and after the courses split, Compact course riders continue with timed segments, mechanical support, safety motos, feed stations, and sag vehicles. Choose the course that suits your goals, and we’ll make sure you’re supported the whole way.
