Why this event?

A Uniquely Southern Cycling Experience

With twisty and narrow roads, challenging climbs and sweeping vistas, the riding in Asheville, North Carolina is like nothing else in the United States. Ride with friends, compete or challenge yourself on timed segments, and then regroup to swap stories, take pictures, and enjoy the views. Two classic road stages, each close to 100 miles, include features like the Blue Ridge Parkway and the Biltmore Estate, and the event concludes with a time trial up Town Mountain for Stage 3.

Vibrant Downtown Location

Experience Southern hospitality in the laid-back yet sophisticated atmosphere of downtown Asheville, NC. A hub for artists, musicians, world-class chefs, and craft brewers, spend your afternoons and evenings exploring the small city’s unique sights, sounds, and tastes.

Superior Support Services

The Haute Route Asheville is a treat even for locals, because the remote roads make the courses nearly impossible to ride without feed stations and dedicated support vehicles. The stages are tough, and the Haute Route makes sure you are supported every step of the way so you can reach new heights.
