Haute Route New Destinations

Ernest Hemingway said, “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best,” and we couldn’t agree more. A bicycle is the best way to explore the world, so Haute Route continually seeks new destinations to introduce you to new challenges, cultures, and experiences.

Why choose this type of event?

iconConvenience and Confidence

Don’t let the hassle and uncertainty of planning a cycling trip to an unknown location stop you from experiencing the best road cycling destinations. Travel with confidence knowing Haute Route’s staff of experts has the details handled. We’ll have the hotels, routes, mechanics, feed stations, meals, massages, and transfers taken care of so you can just show up and focus on the experience.

iconProven Routes

Our professional course designers work with local cyclists to curate ride routes that feature challenging climbs, thrilling descents, spectacular scenery, low-traffic roads, and important landmarks. During the event, the course is marked and marshaled, and GPS files are available for download to personal devices.

icon New Challenges

Though going to Alpe d’Huez, Ventoux, and Stelvio will always be exciting, the world is full great climbs and challenging cycling routes. At Haute Route we are always looking for ways to help you achieve more, like climbing a volcano in Mexico or discovering the Qingcheng region of China. We continually seek out hidden gems and create experiences not available to the public, like reserving Angel Island in San Francisco Bay for a time trial in 2018 and 2019, and riding the Ryfast Tunnel in Norway in 2019 before it opened to car traffic.

iconNew Cultures

You can’t really get to know a place from inside a car. On the bike you see more details, experience the sights, sounds, and smells in the environment, and engage more with the people and culture. Haute Route events also get you off the beaten path to see areas tourists never get to.
