Bike Stand Chat and Beer (Toronto, Canada)

Presented by Haute Route, Alpha Velo and Steam Whistle Brewing, learn about the Haute Route cycling series to Reach New Heights in your cycling adventure while enjoying a delicious beer or two at Alpha Velo.

Adrian Borys, Haute Route Ambassador and finisher of the Haute Route Alp d’Huez, will take the you through his Haute Route experience, the 2020 events, explain the 3 and 7 day, Original and Compact Formats, and share his knowledge and what made it so special.

Andrew Randell will provide insights on how to best prepare for a Haute Route event. Andrew competed as a professional cyclist for thirteen years, competing for teams from both the USA and Canada. Today Andrew works with a variety of athletes from professionals to masters athletes and young up and comers and runs the Cycle Gym, a community for people to work out, have fun and train properly to meet their athletic goals, whatever those goals may be.

Premton, owner of Alpha Velo, will discuss what gear you would need to tackle the ever changing weather in the mountains. Through years of riding road bicycles Premton realized that there is a need for consistency, function and quality. During this time, Premton was fortunate to connect with brands that shared his passion and appreciation for products that satisfy the needs of the connoisseurs of the sport.

Trevor Young, Steam Whistle brewing, will supply some delicious beer.
